Out of Bliss

Short poems like “Out of Bliss” are some of my favorites as they say so much with so little. There is a rhythmic quality that is almost like a mantra. This may serve to quiet the mind somewhat and allow an understanding prior to thought.

birth and evolution
mountains rising within Me,
death and dissolution
and they fall into the sea.

yet I remain unchanging,
I alone exist,
these apparent re-arrangings
arising out of Bliss.

You are what always ever is,
seek not what is always not,
in this way recognize Yourself
to get what You’ve always got.
