the sea bears no ill will
with its raging storms,
and this seeming rancor
may be countered with an anchor
moored deep below the surface,
far below the crests and troughs
is undisturbed equilibrium,
in stillness and silence
far removed from the violence
of relentless waves.
the surface storms
like life circumstances
are unpredictable and transient,
yet when weathered from below
are seen as a passing show.
most are tossed about on the surface,
and miss the sunken treasure,
the stability of the anchor,
a refuge from countless storms,
the Heart of the Ocean.
